Our unique solution
VIPS provides to Blood Tranfusion Establishments an easy-to-use and mild method for the viral inactivation of plasma, cryoprecipitate and cryo-poor plasma followed by bacterial filtration.
The new VIPS Plasma and VIPS Cryo systems should encourage Blood Transfusion Establishments to virally inactivate cryoprecipitate and plasma, following their separation from whole blood or after collection by apheresis procedures thus providing a safer product for clinical application.

For viral inactivation of minipool of 30-32 units 400 ml of dry cryoprecipitate
Technical characteristics
- Optimised Solvent-Detergent virus inactivation.
- Mild procedure using a cascade of specially designed bags and filtration system allowing good recovery of cryoprecipitate and plasma proteins components.
- Virus inactivation followed by bacterial filtration, providing a clean end-product free of bacteria, pyrogens, parasites, white blood cells and cell debris.
